The "Text to Speech" feature is what sold me. I read a lot and when I find a book that is too good to put down I will read until my eyes are hurting. Now with my Kindle I can turn on the Text to Speech plug in my earphones and listen to my story….ah life is good.
So, if you made a New Year's resolution to do something special for yourself the eBook Reader is the way to go.
Here is a review by Consumers Report. It will give you a good idea of how the Kindle works but the price they quote has gone down. It was $359 but it is now $259.
